With the holiday season right around the corner, we can see an influx of all the hallmark and other Christmas and holiday movies making their way to the top of Netflix’s leadership boards.

Right when we thought one of the best known Christmas movies, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” with Jim Carrey, couldn’t be topped in any shape or form, the animation version, called “The Grinch” dropped in late 2018.

While the plot of the story remained very very similar, it was a nice change of scenery for us to now see the animated world of the Whoville. As “The Grinch” came out 18 years later, the movie generally has much better graphics, image, and sound.

The movie starts out by showing the life of a green creature from Whoville who felt abandoned and isolated from a very young age by his peers around the Christmas, so he promised himself to never to come back to the city, and never to celebrate the Christmas.

However, as he does everything in his power to stop himself and everyone else from having fun on Christmas, he realizes he can’t ruin the little kids’ holidays by stealing their gifts, and that the Christmas exists in the heart.

Slowly, the Grinch has a turning point, and when he realizes despite what he does, the people from Whoville will still love and accept him, he gradually joins the civilization and leaves his man-cave.

Regardless of the viewers’ age, 2018 The Grinch movie, finds its way to your heart. Whether its the amazing visuals or the heartwarming, feel-good movie plot you’ll never finish the movie on a down note.

As the 2018 movie is a huge flashback to the 2000 Jim Carrey version, I think watching it makes for a great holiday throw back, especially during these confusing and draining times.

With Christmas and New Year around the corner, you can buy this Elf Edition Monopoly set, to complete your holiday fun wishlist!
