Since The Bad Batch Season 2’s first season ended on a sad yet hopeful note, Star Wars fans have been begging for news of season 2’s release date.
While exclusive footage and a trailer were released at Star Wars Celebration this spring, it seems that The Bad Batch Season 2’s release date has been left off the September calendar.
Technically, The Bad Batch Season 2’s release date was never officially announced. The date of “28 September” did briefly appear on Disney+ on the home page for The Bad Batch, but it was removed.
There just hasn’t been an official announcement of The Bad Batch Season 2 release date yet.
We can say probably next month, and Disney+ Day will likely come with an official release date for The Bad Batch Season 2 and a release date for the upcoming anthology series Tales of the Jedi. In May, Both of these shows were initially given Fall 2022 release dates at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, which did not happen in the fall.
We think that one or both of these series will wait until 2023 to debut. At the same time, that’s a little disappointing for The Bad Batch and Tales of the Jedi fans.
