Survivor
Television personality Jeff Probst hosted the first season of Survivor in Borneo.
In its run on CBS, Survivor has had 703 episodes and 48 seasons, with season 49 currently airing on TV. The show brings 16 to 20 contestants, called “castaways,” onto an island, and they compete to be the sole survivor.
Every season features a different cast who have to compete in physical and mental challenges. Additionally, they vote out their fellow players and create a resume worth winning one million dollars!
The current season, 49, started airing on September 24, 2025.
Fans can look forward to season 50, which will air in the spring of 2026. Survivor season 50 is a big milestone as it marks 25 years of the reality television show! To celebrate, Probst will be hosting an all-stars season of returning fan-favorite castaways, including Survivor season 45 winner Dee Valladares and the famous creator of HBO’s White Lotus, Mike White.

The Bachelorette
The Bachelorette is a very popular show from the Bachelor franchise. One woman has the opportunity to choose between a group of 20 or 30 men to find love. Typically, the bachelorette is a former bachelor contestant with high popularity ratings and a great ability to handle the hardships that come with the show.
The upcoming season, season 22, is a bit different, though. Most fans of the show were expecting the newest bachelorette to be chosen in the normal fashion. But the bachelorette announcement for season 22 totally shocked the internet!
Season 22’s bachelorette is none other than the reality television star herself, Taylor Frankie Paul from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu.
Fans of the franchise are looking forward to Paul bringing her chaotic energy to the show, but there is no premiere date for the season yet.
The Bachelorette took a brief hiatus in 2025, so there has not been a season since fall 2024. At the time, Jenn Tran was the bachelorette and made major headlines when she called out her ex-fiancé from her season during the reunion and then flew out to join the cast of Dancing With The Stars.

Dancing with the Stars
Dancing With The Stars season 34 is currently airing on ABC and Disney+.
In the past 33 seasons, 14 celebrity contestants have competed with professional dance partners to win the ultimate prize, the mirrorball trophy.
In this season, notable names like Robert Irwin, Jordan Chiles, Alix Earle, and Danielle Fishel are competing in the dance reality television competition. Fans can look forward to seeing themed nights like “Wicked Night” for week 6, “Rock & Roll” for week 8, and “Prince Night” for week 10!
Last season, the franchise’s favorite bachelor, Joey Grazadei, won the mirrorball trophy with his professional partner Jenna Johnson.
Fans can look forward to seeing the cast of DWTS tour North America. The cast has been touring intermittently since 2006, but annually since 2014.
Most of the professional dancers on the reality show perform on the live tour. They perform the most popular dances from the most recent season of the show and new choreographed routines.
This year, after season 34 concludes, they’ll stop at cities like Indianapolis, IN, Hollywood, CA, Jacksonville, FL, and more!
Special Forces
Special Forces is a reality competition show where celebrities, famous athletes, reality television stars, social media influencers, and more compete in challenges inspired by actual military training.
The “recruits” or contestants of this reality show travel the world to complete difficult training courses. They recruit either choose to leave, are disqualified, or are medically withdrawn throughout the course of the season, unless they pass their training.
The recruits left in the last two episodes experience “enemy attacks” and “interrogation” as their final training, and they have to successfully pass it to complete the show.
Season 4 of Special Forces aired on September 25, 2025, on Fox and can be found on Hulu. This season, big names like Nick Young(former NBA player), Chanel Iman (model), and Shawn Johnson (former Olympic gymnast) are competing. In fact, Johnson is competing with her husband, Andrew East, a former NFL player.
Special Forces is an adapted version of the British show “Who Dares Wins” with the same premise.

Love is Blind
The contestants of this reality show, created by Chris Coelen, are in it to find love! For 10 days, the contestants meet each other and date from separate “pods” where they can talk to each other, but can’t see each other. The purpose of these “pods” is to get to know another person without seeing them because “love is blind.”
During this time in the “pods,” the contestants can offer a marriage proposal to the person that they like, or hopefully love, and only then are they able to meet face-to-face. This first part of the show is only the beginning of the wildly popular social experiment.
The contestants, now coupled up, get the opportunity to go on a couples’ retreat and then spend the last three weeks of the show living together. During those three weeks, the couples plan a wedding to decide whether they want to be married in real life and get legally married.
The ninth season premiered on Netflix on October 1, 2025, and is set to have 12 episodes, with the finale episode airing on October 22, 2025. And, Netflix has already confirmed that there will be a “Love is Blind” season 10.

The Traitors
The Traitors is a newer competition in the reality television circuit. The host, Alan Cumming has been the host for all three seasons released so far.
The cast of the first season was a blend of celebrities and everyday people as they competed for a prize fund of up to $250,000 at a castle in Scotland. The following two seasons continued that same premise, except the casts were all celebrities.
Most players in the show are called “faithfuls”. The goal of this group is to work as a team to win challenges and ultimately add money to the prize fund.
But, there’s also a small group of players called “traitors”, hence the name of the show. Their role is to undermine the “faithfuls” at every opportunity. Then, at night, they secretly convene together to eliminate the “faithfuls”, all while avoiding being voted out by their competitors.
The Traitors is a show of constant twists and turns, crazy betrayals, and, of course, hilarious commentary from Cumming.
Season 4 of The Traitors is set to be released in early 2026, and the cast has already been announced! You can look forward to seeing famous faces like Mark Ballas (DWTS), Natalie Anderson (Survivor), and Donna Kelce, the mother of popular NFL players Travis and Jason Kelce.
