Stranger Things Drop Promotional Game For Season 2

An 80s style 8 bit arcade game.

If you weren’t excited enough for season 2 of Stranger Things then the show’s new free-to-play throwback inspired game will surely get you there.

“Stranger Things: The Game” is an “adventure/puzzle game” according to an article posted to Variety, that takes players on an exploration through the show’s fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The game plays off themes from 80’s styled arcade games but brings a new modern overlay, similar to the show’s design.

The game follows the plot of season 1 and features special abilities for the different players in the game. For example, “Lucas can nail anything with his Wrist Rocket and Nancy has an entire collection of bats to swing”, according to Variety.

After you have made it through the game, you’ll catch a glimpse of the upcoming season.

Check out the game’s trailer below.

All 9 episodes of season 2 will premiere October 27th.
