Biopics are all the rage these days, and every one that comes out seems to be even more gripping than the next. What’s more thrilling than watching a movie about your favorite artists or musicians? It’s better than reading a biography.
So this motion picture biography about Vincent Van Gogh, played by William Dafoe, is going to get into the controversial mystery of the artist’s death. Maybe it was his numerous illness and fragile heart that killed him, or was it your brothers Gaston and René Secrétan, who were playing with guns nearby to where Van Gogh was painting?
The biopic will also explore Van Gogh’s struggle between madness and genius, and cover the time that he spent in Aries and Auvers-sur-Oisee. It is scheduled for release on November 16, where Director Julian Schnabel will first present the film in Venice.
