This emotional documentary follows the stories of American soldiers and their battle with PTSD and physical injuries post war. America has always been plagued with appropriately addressing the psychological and physical damage that needs to be repaired once our brave soldiers make it back home. This documentary shines light on the positive impact surfing can have on these veterans.
This 2 minute trailer really sets the tone for the upcoming film. It’s full of raw, passionate, & powerful shots and comments. From the looks of it this is sure to be a tear-jerker.
It’s amazing to see Netflix use their platform to help those in need and provide awareness on surfing and the benefits it can have on veterans and those in need of a healthy escape. Make sure to check it out on September 1st when it releases!
