Making A Murderer Sequel Has Begun Production

How to build a legal case against a murderer, through the eyes of Steven Avery’s prosecutors.

Just a couple of years ago, ‘Making a Murderer’ went viral.

It became so popular that people wanted more. It seems as though that dream will be a reality. ‘Convicting a Murderer’ is officially in the production stages.

Well, maybe it’s not quite the sequel people are looking for. The new series will focus on the perspective of the law enforcement officials who worked the case. The guys on the other end of the spectrum claim to have been portrayed unfairly in the first installment of the show. Now, viewers will hear the details directly from the “horse’s mouth.” Admittedly, the show did lean more towards Steven Avery when it was released. So this “sequel” will give the other players a chance to tell their side of the story.

Viewers will have the opportunity to hear first-hand accounts from people like Ken Kratz and Tom Fassbender. It should be interesting to hear from them considering they came off as complete assholes in the first part of this saga. Do you think they’ll be able to win the public over this time around? All in favor say aye! *crickets* Well…uh…ok…moving on.

Series producer Shawn Rech said this:

When Making A Murderer was produced, many on the law enforcement side of the story could not, or would not, participate in the series, which resulted in a one-sided analysis of the case. This docuseries will examine the case and the allegations of police wrongdoing from a broader perspective. It will also share with viewers the traumatic effects of being found guilty and vilified in the court of public opinion.

Good news crime fans, Making a Murderer is actually getting a second season! We can all jump for joy now as we wait for the second season to be released. Who’s going to make it first, the second season of the tell-all crime show, or the first season of the cops point of view? Regardless, both shows will be interesting and I’m sure both will get you hooked.
