Move over, Halloween, it’s time for us to mark an even spookier date in our calendars for this year.

The aptly titled Arachnado is a film about spiders in a tornado. The recently released trailer depicts beautiful LA, with a radio announcer issuing a cyclone warning. However, people quickly realise that this tornado contains more than just dust and air.

Though the trailer doesn’t give any clues to how the brave residents of LA fight the spiders that fall from the sky out of this tornado, it’s easy to believe the film will be filled with scary and heroic moments.

The Arachnado is looking to be very similar to the Sharknado franchise, replacing the original sharks with spiders. Though Sharknado’s first film wasn’t very successful, this did not prevent the franchise from growing to be a whopping 6 films long. This, of course, leaves very high hopes for the very similar Arachado to continue expanding its franchise.

The film is scheduled to be released on November 26, which falls on American Thanksgiving. Whether you’re in America celebrating with your family, or you just want a skin-crawling movie to watch to round-off this unpredictable year, this film is looking to tick all the boxes for entertainment and fear.
