We all know that it can prove embarrassing to blindly believe things we read on the internet… and yet… There seems to be news floating around that there is an Ace Ventura: Pet Detective 3 in the works AND that Jim Carrey will be starring.
And it’s not just fans and other news outlets sharing the news. Rumors seem to be confirmed by this from the production company:
Ace Ventura is a 90’s icon and while not all the movies have aged well, there is something really funny about Carrey in this movie. For some, he was kind of the precursor to JackA$$ in the States. The wild, gross and slapstick humor is still pretty funny — it’s like how farts are funny no matter how old you get.
Will this new Ace Ventura actually star Jim Carrey, much like the new Matrix movie will star Keaunu Reeves? Or will this be one of those weird sequels where it’s Ventura’s granddaughter?
