After becoming a teenager, Dahmer realized that he was gay and would soon have fantasies about dominating and controlling other men.

After graduating from high school, Dahmer committed his first murder. The victim was a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks. Dahmer had a sexual interest in Steve, but when it became apparent that Hicks didn’t feel the same way, Dahmer killed him so he couldn’t leave.

Steve Hicks was Dahmer’s first of many victims. He later admitted to having killed 17 people, all of whom were young men. His crimes didn’t stop even after murdering them. He was not just a murderer but a cannibal as well.
