HBO sport’s new two-part documentary, Tiger, is coming to screens in January 2021 divulging into the success and shocking infamy of notorious golfer Tiger Woods.

The trailer released by HBO suggests that the documentary will take a fast-pace tour of Tiger’s life, following the rise of the sporting superstar, as well as his fallbacks.

Old footage of Tiger as a youth practicing his sport is included in the trailer, highlighting how home-style videos will be used to make his personal story intelligible to viewers.

The series is also expected to explore Tiger’s relationship with his late father, Earl Woods, who talks intimately about his son in a voiceover to the trailer.

According to The Wrap, the documentary will include interviews with those who know Woods well, such as his former caddy, biographer and first love.
