From Scratch is an upcoming Netflix original series created by Attica Locke and Tembi Locke. It’s a story of love, loss, and finding a home set in the backdrop of Italian culture. A woman named Amy meets and falls in love with Lino. Amy comes to the United States to marry Lino and build a life together despite cultural differences, Lino’s struggle to adjust to living in another country, and Lino’s cancer diagnosis. With the couple’s future threatened by his illness, they must come together with family members with very different perspectives to make it through these challenging times.
