Farming Life in Another World is a Japanese light novel by Kinosuke Naito. The novel series debuted online on December 29, 2016, via the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
Yasumo illustrates the story, and Enterbrain has released fourteen volumes of it.
The plot revolves around a thirty-nine-year-old Hiraku Machio, who died and was given a second chance by reincarnation in a charming isekai world. Hiraku lives his life as an isekai farmer known to do hard work and keeps himself involved by bucking isekai traditions of battling a demon king or accomplishing a prophecy. Along with this, he was given four desires. The show’s focus will be Hiraku’s journey rather than his end.
An animation series adapted from this manga was announced back in March 2022, and it was revealed that Zero-G would produce it. The show is scheduled to be released on January 6, 2023, on AT-X and other networks. Ryōichi Kuraya is directing the show, and Touko Machida scripts it.
The opening song, “Flower Ring,” is composed by Shino Shimoji and Aya Suzaki, and the ending theme song, “Feel the winds,” is done by Hizuki Yui. Fans can also enjoy the show on Hidive.
