NBC is at it again. This year, it’s bringing us some holiday cheer with none other than Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas special!

The film is said to be a two-hour event scheduled to air on Thursday, December 1, at 8 pm ET on NBC itself. There’s the titular talent herself, but who else is joining her onscreen?

NBC shares that the film, a “modern-day movie musical,” takes us backstage into how television specials are made. Several production numbers and rehearsals are happening since Parton will also reflect on her past when the Three Wise Mountain Men pops up.

This inspired the singer to go all “rogue” just before the special was about to air. Because that’s precisely when Parton realizes that Christmas “lies in the hearts” of the childhood we all once had, the holiday is more about who we spend it with and the importance of Christmases, according to NBC.

Fans are excited to see Parton coming in a new project! And plenty of talent is all set to join her onscreen. And who are they? We’ve got the answer for you!

Who stars in Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas on NBC?

The production is said to include the main cast and some special musical celebrity guests. Some of these include Jimmy Fallon and Miley Cyrus.

Musical celebrity guests:

Jimmy Fallon

Many of the onscreen characters in the film are based on the real crew working behind the scenes. The Real-life writer and executive producer David Rambo has taken up the duties with Parton and the real-life Sam Haskell.
