The third and final season of Dead to Me has finally arrived on Netflix, and many bombshells have been dropped throughout the last ten episodes.

Is Jen pregnant in Dead to Me season 3?

Surprisingly Jen gets pregnant after sleeping with Ben during a plot twist. She previously thought those were just her menopause symptoms, but as her doctor tells her, menopause and pregnancy can often share identical symptoms.

Is Christina Applegate pregnant in real life?

No, Christina Applegate, in real life, isn’t pregnant. Applegate and her husband, Martyn LeNoble, have one daughter, Sadie, and Sadie was born in 2011. The writers didn’t write about Jen’s pregnancy for any reason other than an interesting plot twist and to bring Jen and Ben closer to each other.

Viewers often relate that pregnancy storylines arise due to an actress’ real-life pregnancy. In Dynasty season 4, viewers thought Cristal was pregnant because the actor, Daniella Alonso, was hiding her real-life pregnancy on the show. Furthermore, ABC’s comedy Home Economics hasn’t (yet) written about the real-life pregnancy of Caitlin McGee. However, even if an actress isn’t pregnant in real life, viewers will still think if her character’s pregnancy means she is.

What’s your take on Jen’s pregnancy twist in Dead to Me season 3?
