Gordon, O’Brien, Beau Bauman, Datari Turner, Mark McNair, and actor Jamie Foxx are all involved as executive producers.

Back in Action filming updates
According to the news outlet, the movie is in the pre-production stages, with filming most likely starting in November 2022. The cameras will begin rolling at Netflix’s London Shepperton Studios, and further filming potentially in Atlanta, Georgia.
Back in Action cast
Alongside the lovely Diaz coming out of retirement, viewers will also see Jamie Foxx starring alongside the star. This will be the third time the duo collabs together on a project.
Their first movie was the 1999 sports drama Any Given Sunday. Then again, they worked together in 2014 on the remake of Annie. The musical comedy-drama was the final production Diaz appeared in before declaring her retirement in 2018.
Deadline reports two exciting cast additions to the project: Kyle Chandler and Glenn Close are added to the cast. The actor is well-known for being Eric Taylor in Friday Night Lights and close and has received several awards over her 40-year career, including three Primetime Emmy Awards.
