In the popular Japanese superhero manga series My Hero Academia, a young boy is born in a society where having superpowers or quirks is commonplace.

The manga was written by Kōhei Horikoshi and came out on July 7, 2014.

On April 3, 2016, Kenji Nagasaki, Tomo Kubo, and Masahiro Mukai created an anime television series based on the manga series. The anime centres on Izuku Midoriya and features character designs by Yoshihiko Umakoshi. Izuku aims to be a superhero despite being born without a quirk.

After airing for five seasons, the show’s sixth season premiered on October 1 and December 4 in English. The first part concluded with thirteen episodes on December 24, 2022. This coming episode will be the beginning of season six, part two.

In the previous episode, we saw Hero organization planning an attack on the villains’ hideout. This decision was taken to stop Shigaraki’s transformation and take the doctor in charge in their custody. Heroes could complete part of their plan and control the change, but an incomplete Shigaraki came into force and still caused massive destruction.

Our heroes could stop Shigaraki and Machia came forward with the league of villains on his back. Debi also revealed that he was the son of Endeavor and went to find him. Machia was defeated with the help of Jeanist. Unfortunately, this last desperate attack to defeat Shigaraki was in vain, and All For One took control of Shigaraki’s body and fled the scene.

The upcoming episode, i.e., the fourteenth episode of season six, is scheduled to be released on January 7, 2023. It is called “Hellish Hell” and will premiere at 17:30 JST on the Japanese regional networks. Both Crunchyroll and Funimation offer to stream for the forthcoming episode.
