In his new music video collab ‘Find My Way’ with artist Beck, 79 year old Paul McCartney stars as a CGI Deepfake version of his younger self.
It’s actually Beck who stars in the video, with a young Paul McCartney deepfake face instead of his own.
The impressive music video features the deepfake young Paul McCartney dancing down hotel corridors with even more CGI technologies within them: from jungle decor and animals to space imagery across the deepfake McCartney’s body.
The video ends with Beck removing his deepfake McCartney ‘mask’, revealing his own face.
The video was directed by Andrew Donoho, choreographed by Phil Tayag, and co-produced by Hyperreal Digital, a company that “specializes in the creation of hyper-realistic digital avatars.”
Hyperreal’s CEO Remington Scott said in a statement: “The technology to de-age talent and have them perform in creative environments like this is now fully realized, even with one of the most recognized faces in the world.”
‘Find My Way’ is a remixed version featuring Beck, from album ‘McCartney III Imagined.’ Described as ‘personally curated by Paul, ‘McCartney III Imagined’ features an A-List assortment of friends, fans and brand new acquaintances, each reimagining their favourite ‘McCartney III’ moments in their own signature styles.’
Other stars featured on McCartney III include Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, and Dominic Fike.
