Since Dr Dre launched one of the most popular headset company’s across the world, the iconic logo has become one of the most fan-recognized ever. But, speculations about what the minimalist ‘b’ could really stand for never stopped…
It’s been 15 years since Dre launched the first Beats headphones, with a sleek look and their logo pasted on both sides of the ear muffs. But, recently fans have started guessing that maybe the ‘b’ is actually a depiction of something else.
A recent viral TikTok by @raisingsails suggests that the ‘b’ is actually supposed to be a minimalist representation of someone wearing headphones. In the original design of the logo, the surrounding red circle around the ‘b’ is actually the side profile of a human head, and the ‘b’ itself is the headphones.
The reason it was so hard to decipher was because the head was left completely featureless. Instead of a head, most people just saw a plain circle. However, once you notice the difference, it is impossible to unsee!
@Raisingsails helpfully photoshopped some features onto the circle to highlight how the ‘b’ fits perfectly as a pair of headphones.
People on Twitter are going wild with this news – as people on Twitter do with any news…
