On March 15, the iconic American band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, played an unforgettable concert at an even more unforgettable location, the Pyramids of Giza.

During this beautifully backdropped concert, Red Hot Chili Peppers played 20 songs for the crowd of 10,000 plus people, and many more around the world via Livestream. Red Hot Chili Peppers had big shoes to fill performing at the Pyramids, with past performers like Mariah Carey and Frank Sinatra.

Hosted by the Ministry of Tourism of Egypt, this was the first concert held at the pyramids since 2015. This concert was held in hopes to bring in more tourists to Egypt, which had heavily declined after the 2011 protests.

Though the Red Hot Chili Peppers played many of their top hits such as Californication, Under the Bridge, and Can’t Stop, they are currently working on a new album, following The Getaway, dropping sometime this year.
