He’s sure to be full of some of the funniest and most amazing tales you’ll hear, but Will Smith has recently opened up about the time he met the king of pop himself- Michael Jackson!

And the two superstars may have only ever met once but it sure is a story!

About as crazy as you’d expect when you bring one of the music world’s most iconic singers together with an acting legend.

After a fight breaks out at the BET Awards event that they were both attending, a funny turn of events takes place which results in both Smith and Jackson taking cover in the same utility closet.

With Smith desperate to impress his idol, when asked by Jackson if he likes comic books he pretends to be an expert on the subject.

“You know I don’t know nothing about no comic books but I’m here with Michael Jackson, I ain’t gonna tell him that.” Will says.

As Smith narrates the funny tale full of energy and on screen graphics appear to disguise him as Jackson, you can’t help but watch it to the end and feel the pain he must have felt when doing all he could to impress the singing superstar.

And what can we learn from the story- even the smoothest of celebrities can lose their cool when faced with their idol!
