Guardians of the Galaxy has a whole boatload of treats, and now there’s a secret playlist too
Director James Gunn has given fans even more of an insider look by releasing his personal playlist for the franchise. Among all of the other goodies, the music is one of the reason’s the films have seen so much success. Being so close to the previously released second chapter, Gunn has given fans an “easter egg” until the release of the third installment in 2020.
The 70’s and 80’s sound mixes perfectly with the adventures in the films. Using everyone’s favorite platform, Twitter, Gunn posted a picture the list of the ten tracks he listened to during filming. “I finally got round to making a Spotify playlist of Awesome Mix Vol.0”, wrote Gunn, “the secret, the personal mix I made to play on the set of Vol.1, especially for the drunken partying scenes in the Boot of Jemiah. Enjoy!”
