Ed Sheeran has finally released a song after taking a break off social media for a whole year! He presents his new song “Afterglow” to be a Christmas present.

Since the whole year Sheeran has been away, he has been enjoying himself. He is taking time for himself to travel, read, write, and enjoy his family.

Speaking of family, Sheeran announced on Instagram released a quick message saying his wife Cherry gave birth to their new daughter. With the quick message, he released his daughter’s name and said he will see us when it’s time.

On December 20th, the singer and songwriter abruptly posted a song cover with a time of when the song will be presented for everyone to hear.

Ed Sheeran posts up a teaser video on his Instagram with the message: “Afterglow is a song I wrote last year that I wanted to release for you. It’s not the first single from the next album, it’s just a song I love and hope you love too.”

Sheeran then proceeds to say he is going back to dad land for now. From the looks of this, it seems of Ed Sheeran’s music may be released sooner than later. Want more Sheeran? Check out his Game of Thrones Cameo.
