Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have finally got engaged. To mark the occasion, they apparently ‘drank each other’s blood.’
The rapper-turned-pop-punk star – real name Colson Baker – met Fox, 35, on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass. While the movie was eviscerated by critics, the pair’s love weathered the storm, soon becoming one of social media’s most hotly-discussed couples.
As the tweet below pokes fun; ‘megan fox and machine gun kelly are like that couple in middle school who watched twilight once and then went around telling people they were part of the cullen family.’
Fox announced their engagement on Instagram, sharing a video of MGK getting down on one knee and sharing a kiss after she said yes.
‘In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic… we were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma,’ she wrote.
She continued: ‘Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood.’
On his own Instagram, sharing a short clip of Fox’s emerald and diamond engagement ring, as well as a video of him and Fox falling back onto a bed laid with rose petals, MGK wrote, ‘Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me.’

According to Fox, “the bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts… Love is pain.”
Fox earlier described meeting Kelly as ‘meeting your own soul’s reflection’, while MGK said their relationship was ‘ecstasy and agony… it should be light, but also we go to hell with each other’.
