This trial for defamation has taken over the internet by storm. Following allegations that Johnny Depp domestically abused his ex-wife Amber Heard in a magazine interview, Johnny Depp sued for claims of defamation. Since then, months have passed in court with the two trying to reclaim their truth.
Most recently, on Monday, videos surfacing from the court trial show Depp trying to hide away some laughter as Heard’s lawyer accidentally objects to his own question.
Heard’s defense lawyer was cross-examining Ben King in the libel case. However, Heard’s lawyer, Ben Rottenborn, suddenly interjects into the answer King was delivering and screams “Objection!” To which the judge kindly reminds him, you cannot object to your own question…
It seems like tensions are really high in court these days…
