WATCH: Graffiti Artists Go to Work in Athens As Part of ‘Graffiti Olympics’

Their art is definitely getting the gold.

1 UP  are a graffiti crew who are testing the new limits of their art.

1 Up is an urban graffiti crew primarily Berlin-based with their art usually appearing on roofs, walls, abandoned factories, and tunnels.

However, they are straying from tradition and began hyping their graffiti ‘Olympics’ in Athens, Greece. Check out the link below to see incredible drone images of their work.  

No one knows the exact number of members within their association, but they are often described as white men in their 20s and early 30s, all of whom are ensuring that their tag is seen worldwide. 

Martha Cooper; a world-famous urban photographer has been tracking the crew’s activity. She wrote: “This very active crew has sprayed the world with an impressive assortment of carefully-planned, well-executed tags, throwies and pieces above and below ground,” says Cooper. “Big Up to 1Up for helping to keep the original outlaw spirit of graffiti alive.”
