Stranger Things Season 3 is welcoming new faces to Hawkins!

This third season will continue the story of the group of teens from Hawkins, Indiana, over the duration of 8 new episodes. The second season of the Netflix original show, already added new characters such as Max, who befriended the Hawkins Kids Crew, and her older brother Billy Hargrove. As well as a new subject and Eleven’s sister, ‘Eight’ aka Kali. Season 3 seeks to introduce new characters into the mix!

That Hashtag show managed to find out three profiles of the new characters who will not be joining the Hawkins crew but will be joining the list of baddies. (disclaimer, the character’s names may just be placeholders and therefore may not remain the same once the show airs):

The first is ‘Mayor Larry Kline’, who is described as a “classic, 80’s style slick politician” as well as “pathetic and driven only by his own interests.”

The next one is ‘Bruce’; a “morally compromised news reporter in his 50s” who is “outwardly sexist, overweight and bedraggled”.

And finally, ‘Patricia Brown’, who in first appearance seems to fill in the role of the sweet, neighborhood elder and will be spending a lot of time tending to her garden and offering her advice to the neighborhood kids. However, it is possible according to the website that she has a connection to the ‘upside down’.

With filming underway, Season 3 is expected to film in Atlanta from mid-April through early October and should be ready for release in 2019. So there is plenty of time to buy more Eggos and tissues, and to catch up with season 1 and 2! Have fun!
