Viking Wolf (Vikingulven) Cast: Who’s in Netflix’s Norwegian Horror Film?

Much anticipated horror series Viking Wolf will soon be available on Netflix. The platform dropped the first trailer for the movie, which will be released this Friday, February 3. 

Plot

Directed by Stig Svendsen and co-written by Espen Aukan, the movie features a 17-year-old girl, Thale Berg, who becomes involved in a murder investigation after a horrific incident at a party in a small town as she moves in with her mother. Thale starts to worry that she may be more involved in being a key witness for the incident. She starts to experience strange visions and desires as more people appear injured in the town and begin to fear a monster is responsible for the deaths.

Cast

According to the sources, the Viking Wolf cast involves Elli Rhiannon Muller Osborne as the main character Thale Berg. The identity of Liv Mjönes’s role is unknown, although it is assumed that she plays Thale’s detective mother in the movie, who is attempting to solve the crime. 

Other casts include Arthur Hakalahti as William, Sjur Vatne Brean as Jonas Larson, Vidar Magnussen as Arthur Berg, Kasper Antonsen as Vidar, Øyvind Brandtzæg as Eilert Sundas, Ívar Örn Sverrisson as Olav, Jon Stensby as Harald, Sverre Breivik as Torgersen, Silje Øksland Krohne as Elin Gran and Mia Fosshaug Laubacher as Jenny Berg.

Release News

On November 18, 2022, Viking Wolf already had its theatrical debut in Norway. The movie has already made $57,727,000. In late 2020, filming in Notodden, Norway, started. One of the many Norwegian genre movies on Netflix is Viking Wolf; others include Cadaver and Troll. The movie has a current runtime of one hour and 37 minutes and no MPAA rating.
