For a fee…

Cameo is a video-sharing service via which celebrities send personalized messages to fans for various occasions only after a fee or “request” is paid. James Buckley from The Inbetweeners is now one of over 30,000 celebrities on the site and will happily send out a personalized video for the relatively decent price of $50.

The 32-year-old father, actor, and comedian explained in a video why he decided to join Cameo, stating:

Now, I get asked a load of times to do video messages for people, and I could never be bothered to do it. Until I found out that there was a way that I could do it for money. So if you want me to congratulate your brother’s birthday or maybe hurl some abuse at a friend of yours who’s getting married or something like that – I can do that all for you now, for a fee. Again, here for the money.

More than likely, Buckley – who played foul-mouth Jay from The Inbetweeners – receives a handful of requests to rag on people. If you, a friend, or a family member would love to receive that type of video message or a different type of video message, you can that by following the link right here.

Some people may look at Cameo and judge the affiliated celebrities for their expensive request fee, but who wouldn’t enjoy a fun and easy way to make money?

Besides James Buckley’s work as an actor/comedian, he also has his own gaming YouTube channel called “Completed It Mate” in which he strives to play a game to completion. If you’re interested, you can check that out right here.
