Slipknot Frontman Kills Spongebob Theme Song

Slipknot meets Spongebob-a match made in musical heaven.

Slipknot meets Spongebob-a match made in musical heaven.

Here’s a rendition of the Spongebob theme song you never knew you needed in your life until now.

Corey Taylor, front man of famed heavy metal band Slipknot, took some time out of a 2011 concert to play a bit of a softer song in comparison to the bands usual material. Footage recently resurfaced online of him playing a song far different from the bands plentiful collection-the Spongebob theme song. And he fucking kills it.

The band is sure to stick to their darker and abrasive sound that their known for. None the less, this is the dopest version of the theme song I’ve ever heard. Might have to check out a Corey Taylor show in hopes that he’ll bring it back.

For other dope things that Corey has done, check out the time he yelled at a fan for texting at a concert.
