Though Alex Williamson is known for welcoming hecklers at his comedy shows, his show at the Rhino room in Adelaide, Australia took a turn for the worse this weekend. Youtuber Alex Williamson, nicknamed “Shooter” Williamson on stage, became confrontational with an audience member during his lively set. A video released by Twitter user @Browncardigan69 on October 18th shows a brief glimpse of the altercation, which involved a lot of incomprehensible yelling.

I’m glad they’re dead– so they didn’t get to see their son evolve into such a f****** useless sack of s***

Williamson is heard and seen shouting at the audience member, urging them with more cursing to get out and climbing out of his seat to kick near the vicinity of their table.

His movements are jerky and possibly uncoordinated due to inebriation, and people are seen leaving the show as he gets more aggressive. It’s nearly impossible to understand what exactly he’s saying through the grainy video footage, but the message is very clear that he’s lost his temper.

Near the end of the video, he is seen addressing the entire club instead of the one audience member, to “get the f*** out.” He dodges a few bottles violently thrown his way before the video is abruptly cut short.

“Sad to see how jittery and [aggressive] he’s becoming. The Twitch streams are a struggle to sit through,” one Youtube Channel, Juice Rossi, commented on the aforementioned video.

Only two months ago, Alex “Shooter” Williamson was “glassed” off stage at another one of his comedy shows for a different tirade with another heckling fan.

In July 2019, Alex was apart of Twitter’s cancel culture as #FireAlexWilliamson trended for two weeks over his support of xenobophic comments regarding South Korean boyband BTS on an Australian television show.

The users of Twitter have since dug up numerous tweets by Alex Williamson including racist, sexist and homophobic remarks, as well as jokes about sexualizing underage girls and rape.

Following the hastily ended show (it’s unknown whether Williamson was allowed back on stage that night), he posted a selfie on his Instagram with a large caption about beginning to address his mental health issues.

“Lots of things at play below the surface over the last two weeks as I underwent an episode,” he wrote. “Things you could only speculate on, without a proper understanding. I’m seeing a doctor tomorrow to give them a proper understanding.”

Here’s hoping that Alex Williamson gains some clarity from this new mental health journey and that he can avoid future controversy in his career!
