At the moment, your work uniform may not be exactly the same thing you’d show up to the office in. Hopefully, you’re putting in enough effort to actually be fully dressed.
For many of us, working from home means working in pyjamas. If you don’t have to go out in public, then why dress like you are? Even if you’re on video calls all day, chances are that you’ve paired a set of sweatpants with your collared shirt. However, ABC News reporter Will Reeve took this attitude a bit too far.
This past Tuesday, Reeve appeared on the daily news programme “Good Morning America” from the comfort of his own home, rather than from the studio. For the show, he was reporting on a story about drones delivering prescription drugs to the homes of Americans. In the middle of a pandemic, this kind of service could be very appealing to those who feel at risk leaving their homes to enter pharmacies and drug stores.
During the segment, Reeve was dressed impeccably, with a button-down shirt, tie, and blazer. Unfortunately, the reporter hadn’t angled his camera high enough to just frame his top half. In the video, it appears that Reeve did not include trousers with his ensemble.
The public became aware of this through a viral twitter exchange between Reeve and user @ratemyskyperoom. According to CNN, Reeve was also quick to assure those concerned that he was, in fact, wearing shorts.
