Madeleine Mai-Davies and Nicholas Murray stood at their windows at the perfect time to catch their neighbour leaving his house in an absolutely absurd disguise.
The videos posted of the fellow have now received millions of views on social media because of the bizarre disguise and the comical attempts of the neighbour.
This coronavirus is testing everyone’s mental strength and sanity, and apparently the governments one approved walk a day isn’t enough to satisfy people’s restlessness. Many jokes have been thrown around about ways to sneak in a second time outside a day, but this neighbour has gone the length to execute it and surely this one wins the prize for best effort.

Madeleine and Nicholas were following through with heir self-isolation in their home town Stevenage when they saw their neighbour run out dressed as a bush. The video showcasing the neighbour running through the street and crouching down to blend in with the natural surroundings has since gone viral and has served as a bit of entertainment and laughter in these provoking times.
In the video, Maddie can be heard asking ‘What is our neighbour doing’ as the bush-costumed neighbour returns on screen carrying a Sainsbury’s shopping back. All I can say is, it really is too bad we didn’t get to see how the show went down at the grocery store.
Both Maddie and Nick were shocked at the incredible number of views their video has received, an incredible 16.5 million views to be exact and are just “happy to be able to bring some laughter to the world in these times” as Nick states.
But besides a good time, the video has brought up many questions, especially on TikTok where it was first released. For one, why did their neighbour just… kind of have that at home?? Like name someone who owns a shrub costume.
Another person commented, “What are we looking at, I don’t see anything suspicious?”.
Whether you’re laughing at the video or the comments made after it, this neighbour has brought us all a little bit of comedy in our lives.
