A cyclist crashes into the cameraman during a romantic proposal on Brooklyn Bridge.
Brooklyn Bridge is a hotspot for tourists and commuters alike, and it is safe to say that getting a decent photo is near impossible, let alone a romantic video of a marriage proposal.
Watch the video to find out just how badly a cameraman and a cyclist can ruin a moment.
Despite their enthusiasm, it is obvious the photographer should not have jumped in the cycle lane. Plus, why did the videographer shout at the man proposing to speak louder? The whole scene does not scream ‘couple goals’.
The man popping the question was 22-year-old Chris Vigo. He proposed to his 21-year-old girlfriend Angelina Rivera on Friday 18th September.
The video shows Vigo down on one knee, professing his love while the cameraman eagerly snaps away, only to be hit by an oncoming cyclist.
Vigo checks to see if the cyclist and his cameraman are alright and says they will edit that. But luckily for us, the video remained intact. It went on to receive 10,000 Facebook views overnight.
For anyone out there with a similar proposal idea, maybe pick a less hectic bridge.
It’s not all doom and gloom though, apparently, she said yes, according to the New York Post.
Vigo told The NY Post that after she said yes, they kissed and hugged.
“We know we were surrounded by thousands of people, but it felt good. When I look into her eyes, everything stops.” Vigo said.
