Jackass Star Sean McInerney Severely Injured While Wakeboarding Close

Brave or plain stupid?

YouTube / Discovery

Sean McInerney, Jackass star, was attacked while wakeboarding over a sea filled with sharks.

Just after being recruited for the Discover Channels Jackass stunt team, McInerney plunged into dangerous waters.

Poopies, the star’s nickname, suffered a bite to the arm, but luckily survived the shark attack without any other major injury.

One of his teamates, Chris Pontious, said Poopies “would be f**king dead if they didn’t dive on him as fast as they did,” Steve-O said. “Jesus, he got wrecked by a shark…for a Shark Week episode.”

Pontious recognizes the precarious situations they expose themselves to.

“It’s a reminder that, yeah, like, we are pushing it pretty hard. And this could happen, of course. It’s either, like, everything’s okay or this happens. And hopefully it’s always everything’s okay, everything’s okay. But then… you know, this time it’s not okay.”

One user couldn’t help but express his love for the show:

To feel thrill some drink, others take a trip, a few venutre inside a cave, but this crew takes risk to a whole new level.

So, if you rather keep all of your limbs intact, this activity might work best in your dreams.
