Kevin, a golden retriever from Tampa, Florida, befriends Winter, a dolphin from Clearwater, Florida, creating an adorable and unlikely friendship.
Meet Kevin, a golden retriever, with a following of over 219k on Instagram. Kevin is best known for his TikToks, which he posts on his Instagram page, as well as his Youtube channel. But lately, he has been in the spotlight because of his special new friendship with a certain aquatic animal.
It all started when he met Winter, a dolphin living at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. While Winter isn’t quite as Instagram famous, she did dabble in movies, starring in a Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2. After Winter’s caretaker sent Kevin a video of her saying hello, their friendship began.
On August 13th, 2020, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium uploaded a video of Winter and Kevin’s first meeting. Before, their friendship was built on Facetime calls and videos. But after meeting in person, their fans could truly see the excitement each animal felt seeing the other.
Friendships can blossom in unlikely places, between unlikely people. In this case, Kevin and Winter prove that their friendship is strong enough leap different species and bodies of water.
