Zahara Marley-Jolie, the daughter of two of Hollywood’s biggest A-listers, has joined a long list of sorors celebrating their acceptance into Alpha Kappa Alpha, Incorporated. She is joined at the sorority’s luncheon by her mother and two brothers, Pax and Maddox.
Zahara first made popular headlines in 2022, when it was announced she will be attending Atlanta’s most prestigious Historically Black College – Spelman University. Following her acceptance to the university, Angelina Jolie shows her congratulations with an Instagram photo of her daughter and her new sisters.
“Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl.” – Angelina Jolie.
There’s more to celebrate as she now has new sisters – sorority sisters!
The 18-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Zahara Marley-Jolie, just became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Alpha Kappa Alpha is the first intercollegiate historically African American sorority. The sorority famously known for their pink and green trademark and screeching chant was founded in 1908 at the historically black university, Howard University.
Along with her mother – Zahara was also joined by her brothers, Pax, 19, and Maddox, 22, to commensurate the event. The family can be seen together posed for pictures one day after Zahara introduced herself as a member of the Mu Pi Chapter during their luncheon. Together they are joined by Spelman faculty and AKA member Dr. Jackie Walters, who also shared photos of the event via social media.
“It was so much honor to share my heart and to have been the keynote speaker for the ‘23 finest @19sweetmupi79 Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated…” she captioned with a series of photos of the event.
Zahara is praised significantly by social media users following her new membership to the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. In surfacing video, uploaded by Essence magazine, during her probate, the Spelman sophomore introduces herself to the crowd.
“My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. Coming all the way from the Golden State in the city that is full of Angels, Los Angeles, California…” – Zahara announces, stepping in front of the line of her new sorority sisters.

It can be noted that during her introduction, she noticeably dropped the “Pitt” from her last name, replacing it with Marley, seemingly dropping connections from her allegedly absent father, Brad Pitt. One thing we know for sure is the Mu Pi Chapter has gained a treasure for a soror.
