During Oscar season as stars get ready to accept awards for their hard work, some like to make bets on who is going to win what award.

When Tom Hardy heard that Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for Best Actor for his role in The Revenant in 2016 the two decided to make a bet themselves.

Their bet included Hardy getting a tattoo saying “Leo knows all” on his forearm if Leo won the Oscar. For those who don’t know, DiCaprio is notorious in Hollywood for being jipped when it comes to the Oscar stage. Unfortunately for Hardy, DiCaprio finally did take home an Oscar for his role in 2016 meaning hardy did have to get some new ink.

Hardy’s only condition to making the bet was that Leo had to make his “Crappy” handwriting neat before he got it tattooed on his body. Tom blames Leo’s handwriting but it took almost two years for him to finish the 2016 bet. Even though it took some time Hardy did stay true to his word and now has a pretty cool tattoo to show for it, if that’s what you’re into.

If you are still hyped from this weekend’s Oscars, here is a new movie to look forward to starring DiCaprio as the head of the Manson Family, Hopefully, he doesn’t get jipped on any more awards.
