The Ultimate Black Friday Tech Haul

As the world grows more technologically advanced, high tech presents become more expensive and less accessible for the average gift-giver.

This year, Black Friday is later than usual.  Retailers have been taking advantage of this extra time to get the word out on their big offers and deals. And major retailers have got a few deals that are worth shoppers’ attention. This year’s holiday must-haves may be within reach with these sales.

According to this Mashable article, you can get everything from AirPods to a new TV without completely wiping out your bank account.  Those AirPods are available from Walmart for a relatively inexpensive $129. Those are the second-generation AirPods, but for the Pro version, you can find them at $234.98 on Amazon.com.  As for that TV, Walmart has deals on smaller to mid-size options, while Best Buy has the best sales on screens over 65”.

In terms of gifts for children (or for the young at heart), game consoles are almost always at the top of the list.  For the Nintendo Switch, Walmart is offering a $299 MarioKart Deluxe 8 bundle.  You can also find an XBox 1TB console for $349 at Best Buy, and that comes with a Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order game.  Lastly, a PS4 Slim 1TB is available at Walmart for $199; this deal also includes three games, two of which are digital downloads.

Sometimes, Black Friday is best for buying household necessities.  Take a vacuum, for instance. Dyson stick vacuums are available at Macy’s for $200 off the usual price.  And if you’re looking for cooking tools, then Walmart is selling a 6-quart Instant Pot Duo for $49.
