You know I’ve got you covered with the latest news. Developed by the iNaturalist team, ‘Seek’ is the new Shazam, but for nature! Modeled after Shazam with its sound recognition technology, this app uses image recognition to help you identify plants and animals. Perfect for if you’re trying to get into botany or simply going for a hike—and all you have to do is take a picture!
The iNaturalist team has over 750,000 researchers worldwide and they created the app in 2008 due to their passion for sharing discoveries in nature. Supported by the California Science and Technology University and National Geographic, ‘Seek’ was able to come to fruition.
