The age-old debate of Playstation versus Xbox is looking to face off against a third contender: a new video game console from KFC.
The KFConsole comes in the shape of a KFC bucket, and can take on the newest gaming titles in 4K, 240 frames per second. It boasts an Intel Nuc 9 extreme compute element, as well as a swappable GPU slot and the power of two Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSDs. The console is also VR compatible, with a 240 Hz output.
So what else makes the KFConsole different from its competitors? It is built with a patented Chicken Chamber, designed by computer hardware company Cooler Master. The console uses the system’s heat and airflow to keep your chicken warm in between games.
Mark Cheevers, the social media lead at KFC UK & Ireland, also said the following about the KFConsole:
We’re pleased to finally give the fans exactly what they wanted.
We all know the console war is vicious, but we’re very confident in the KFConsole as our flagship entry.
This machine is capable of running games at top-level specs, all on top of keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gaming experience…what’s not to like?
There is no release date for the console yet, but you can read more about it here.
