You have to see it to believe it…

Ryan Williams reaches dizzying new heights as he becomes the first person to perform the 360 Double Backflip Tailwhip on BMX.

The 360 Double Backflip Tailwhip looks as complicated as it sounds. It involves two full backwards rotations while simultaneously spinning 360 degrees horizontally and at one point completely coming off the seat of the bike as it whips round beneath you, all while being projected several feet into the air. You have to see it to believe it.

Twenty-six-year-old Australian adrenaline junkie and athlete, Ryan Williams, known as R-Willy, took home a gold medal from last year’s X Games in Minneapolis. But the sky is the limit for this trailblazing rider. Williams has several impressive BMX tricks in his locker, but his newest trick is a world-first. He really is on X Games Mode.

Williams proudly states: “After over 20 tries and months of preparations, I finally rolled away from the World’s First 360 Double Backflip on BMX. This has to be one of the hardest tricks I’ve ever landed in my life.”

R-Willy is flooded with emotion and breaks down in tears after pulling off the legendary trick. “I did it!” he cries, as he lands the world’s first 360 Double Backflip Tailwhip on BMX with all limbs still intact.

What jaw-dropping trick will Williams throw next? We’ll have to wait and see. But his collection of world firsts is only getting bigger and better. It is onwards and most certainly upwards for this freestyle superstar!
