In light of the 2020 Presidential Election, concerns regarding voter fraud have been brought into question. Trump’s alleged “star witness”, Melissa Carone gave her testimony in Michigan on Wednesday and she has officially gone viral.
Throughout her testimony, Carone claims that voting books were incorrect, that there were zero registered voted listed in the books, and she refused to allow State Representative Johnson to explain how to detect evidence of voter fraud.
Melissa Carone is a contract information technology worker for a voting systems company. Carone was previously charged of obscenity under the name Melissa Wright. Under a plea agreement, her charge was reduced to 12 months on probation, which ended on 13 September, 2020.
Representative Darrin Camilleri explains during the hearing that Carone’s description of the event that occurred at the voting center do not match that of Judge Kenny, who is also cover claims of voter fraud at this particular location.
The allegations made by Carone have yet to be supported by any Democratic, Republican, or Independent voter.
Carone goes on to claim that she “accidentally” gave an interview to Channel 7, and believes that the news outlet “made her that ‘incredible’ witness”.
In a recap of the hearing, current events content creator, Brian Tyler Cohen summarizes how strange this hearing appears to the public, even comparing Carone’s testimony to an impression of SNL’s Kate Mckinnon doing an impression of a Trump supporter.
Funnily enough, the latest episode of SNL includes a skit of this recent testimony. McKinnon reprises her role as Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, alongside Cecily Stone who portrays Melissa Carone
