As the U.S. approaches the 2020 Presidential Election, thousands of “Jesus 2020” signs pop up, showing who they want to elect as the leader.

As both President Trump and Joe Biden, the frontrunners of the upcoming election, seem to be neck and neck according to recent polls, some Americans are making it known that they would rather let Jesus take the wheel here.

The original campaign for “Jesus 2020” began at Sampey Memorial Baptist Church in Ramer, Alabama and they seem to be trying to get the word out to other locations as well. More than 5,000 of these “Jesus 2020” signs have been sent to homes in California, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and other states as well. You can see it for yourself here:

Joyce Hubbard, once of the co-organizers of the campaign said that the Son of God was the, “only one [Americans] can count on.” Joyce and her friend Martha Sikes originally came up with the idea to bring hope to the American people. Joyce went on to say, “We don’t have to be some megachurch. All it takes is a spark and we want to set fires everywhere.” The signs have sparked interest in people across the country as more and more are ordered from Wells Printing in Montgomery.

And while this very well could bring hope to some people, we must be reminded that we can’t actually vote for Jesus 2020 when November rolls around.
