Piers Morgan finally makes some good points about an issue everyone should be aware of.

There’s still hope for the pompous Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan after all…

On one of the recent episodes of the Good Morning show, Piers Morgan was interviewing Rom Thomson who is known to be a trophy animal hunter. He has had a very controversial track record of killing 5000 elephants, 800 buffalos, 600 lions, 50 hippos, and 40 leopards. Through all of his killings, Thomson admits that he never felt remorse of carrying out such murders in South Africa since he was implemented by the government to do so to control animal populations.

The 77-year-old hunter radiated off a pride of his killings, as described by Morgan who had some strong feelings about his inhumane attitude. Piers strongly responded to the hunter’s unfazed attitude with, “you’ve shown complete detachment for the reality of what you’ve done. Decade after decade, you and your mates have gone out and blazed away at these elephants and it doesn’t seem to have had any impact on you whatsoever”.

The elephant population has dramatically dipped from 1.3 million to 400,000, in which, Thomson is solely responsible for 5000 of them. The hunter tried to justify his actions by saying he had to “get the job done”, which viewers reacted furiously calling him an “idiot” or calling out the facts that humans have done more damage to the environment than these elephants.

Viewers were actually siding with Piers Morgan for the first time and, most likely, the last time on this issue which brings awareness that we must protect these beautiful creatures at all costs!
