Kim Jong-un Calls Trump A ‘Mentally Deranged Dotard’ After Trump’s ‘Rocketman’ Comment

I know what you are, but what am I?

I know what you are, but what am I?

In a recent speech at the U.N. President Donald Trump referred to North Korean Dictator, Kim Jong-un, with the cute nickname he improvised: “Rocketman.” The equally temperamental world leader had a far darker label to slap on Trump. He called the Twitter-happy president a “Mentally deranged dotard.” Ah, the world’s two favorite buffoons trading insults. If they weren’t both colossally, sensitive man-children, possessing the ability to launch nuclear missiles into each other’s backyards, this whole thing would be a real gas.

You might be wondering what this unusual and somewhat archaic word ‘dotard’ even means. According to a dictionary definition, the Middle English term refers to “an old person, especially one who has become weak or senile.” While Kim may not be far from the truth here, he does promise the “highest level of hard-line countermeasure in history” and I must confess, as an American citizen, this is somewhat troublesome to hear.

Clearly, the United States’s Military out-stacks North Korea’s in terms of weaponry by a galaxy or two, but Kim strikes me as the kind of unstable guy who cares so little for his people that he will send a nuke our way just to take out even a small portion of the States, and then get out of dodge once Trump sends a response ballistic missile to decimate the postage stamp sized country (in comparison to the United States, that is).

With Trump’s loose thumbs hovering over his Twitter account, who knows what the next round of jabs are going to look like. The Don will probably have to rely on someone like Tweek from South Park to ameliorate the situation with cupcakes.
