Elon Musk Statue Planted in The Middle of NYC to Commence His 50th B-Day

And it’s not as tasteful as you’d expect from the riches man in the world.

Elon Musk: the man, the billionaire, and now, the statue. As if a man who has everything he’s ever wanted and more would stoop to the level of a tacky sculpture. Yet, he has.

Recently a gold/bronze statue of Musk has settled in New York marking his 50th birthday. For a man who practically invented his own version of NASA, it’s weird to think he needs to prove himself with a misshapen statue– but I digress.

As always social media has taken to the news with mixed views and sarcastic commentary, or not so sarcastic. Let’s take a look.

I mean… he kind of does look like he’s getting his pickle licked. Maybe pickle rick would have been a better option. The funny thing about people that rich is that you don’t feel bad making fun of them. If I had billions of dollars I’d probably mail a statue of myself to everyone who mocked me. JK, but it would be fun to play God.

So, here we are. In the midst of it all at least we can mentally comprehend powerful men wanting their faces permanently planted in the middle of cities. Easier to make fun of that then think about other more pressing issues in the world…

Thinking of rich men, there’s apparently a petition going around for Jeff Bezos to buy and eat the Mona Lisa. Over 5,000 people have signed it. Just let that sink in.
