Do you remember being told not to cry over spilt milk? A truck driver off of a Nashville Interstate takes dramatic spills to a whole new level on May 20th. The Tennessee road is left covered in 40,000 pounds of spilt mac and cheese powder and dried noodles.
Near the I-24/I-40 merge near Silliman Evans Bridge, an overturned tractor trailer spills macaroni and cheese all over a Nashville interstate on an eventful Wednesday at 7:30 am. There were no injuries reported, or any explanations as to what caused the macaroni and cheese spillage, or where it was being transported. This caused a minor inconvenience in eastbound traffic, but it was fully cleared by 1 pm the same day.

Native Tennessee residents took to social media about the exciting event, some in mourning:
“Please give us a moment to process this loss.”
Non-Native Tennessee residents also joined the fun on social media:
“In Cincinnati we periodically spill a tanker of lard, and have to get P&G to come clean it up with Dawn. Occasionally we live up to our soubriquet and pigs get loose on the highway. But never have we ever ruined 40,000lbs of mac and cheese. Oh Nashville.”
This is not the first time Tennessee has experienced massive truck spills, as a semi truckload of pumpkins recently exploded on a Tennessee highway in the past week. It certainly won’t be the last either! If you don’t want to check out the video above, maybe you want to click here to watch 10 Live Streams to Help You Escape the Monotony of Lockdown Life!
