Pharrell Williams’ $17 Million Glass Mansion is For Sale

The famous musician has put his insane home on the market

Moving is always a pain. First you have to find a place to live, and after that you have to pack and unpack: frankly it’s annoying. I don’t know if renaissance man Pharrell Williams feels the same way about moving, but after listing his $17 million mansion he is about to deal with the process.

Despite buying the mansion from director / actor Tyler Perry two years ago, Williams has already decided to move on. Still, that doesn’t mean that the 17,475 square foot residence isn’t captivating.

First off, I would like to officially pull my name out of the running to purchase this house for personal -mostly financial- reasons. But joking aside, this place is insane. Tennis court, pool with a waterfall, 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and a 200 foot driveway?!? Are you kidding? Perry wasn’t messing around when he had the home built in 1992.

The only real issue I would have with living here is the fact that it is a glass house. I’d feel like I would have a lack of privacy, but that may just be me I don’t know. Maybe Williams feels the same way and that’s why he is deciding to live somewhere else.

Also, if I were building my own mansion like Perry did, I would definitely spend some of my money on an indoor basketball court. It’s definitely a bucket list item for me to have my own spot to shoot around inside, but I know that is not everyones dream. Some people, like Joey Chesnut, dream of being able to proudly say they were able to eat 32 Big Macs in less than a hour.
