A couple on Instagram, who post under the name ‘positravelty’, are under fire for a ‘dangerous stunt’ photo.
Kody and Kelly are American travel bloggers who share their positive affirmations alongside their beautiful travel photos. However, whilst in Ubud in Bali, they took a photo that many people have taken a problem with.
In the photo, Kody is holding up Kelly over the side of an infinity pool. But the drop beneath Kelly looks very steep. Therefore, people have responded in outrage at putting her in unnecessary danger.
In response, the couple has protested her safety, stating that there is another pool underneath, out of frame. So, if Kody had dropped her, she would have been perfectly safe and just splashed into the pool below.
We can’t help but think that if he had dropped her unexpectedly, she could have been hurt depending on the depth of the other pool. However, we also don’t know the specifics so we can’t know for sure.
The photo has over 31,000 likes, proving that despite many disapproving, some people appreciated the cool shot. Seemingly, Kody’s explanation over Kelly’s safety is good enough for most. The couple has responded to most of the negative comments to quell the rumours.
